Hon’ble President laid the foundation of the new building of the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex, (RBMC) the Garages, on October 7, 2014. The heritage building formerly held the President's Estate's Garages and formerly went by the name Garages. The new Phase II museum in the former Garages was officially inaugurated on July 25, 2016.

Phase II of the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum showcases past and present Presidencies of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, regal ceremonies, diverse flora and fauna, and much more. It is a comprehensive package for visitors who are interested in art, culture, history, and heritage.

The Garages has three floors, Ground Floor, Upper Basement and Lower Basement.
